WEDDINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN

I don’t want to get in the way of that.

⬆️ (Worth a watch in my humble opinion) ⬆️

You’re getting married! I’m delighted for you. Big fan here, 10/10, would recommend to a friend.
And now you need a decent wedding photographer to take some cracking photos of you and your nearest and dearest on the big day, but y’know, keep it fun.

You might have heard of ‘unposed’ photography. Candid, natural, documentary etc etc etc. I hear these words a lot and I totally get it.
However, what I actually suspect most people really want to say is:
“We would love photos of us looking joyous, ravishingly beautiful and super cool but we don’t want to have to pose like a wally.”

I got you.

But don’t worry, the focus isn’t just on you two.
I want to get hold of the little moments that make a great day: your flower girl flashing her pants whilst you make your vows, your best man forgetting the physics of a kilt and breaking out his one signature dance move - the worm, your Granny stealing the cake cutting sword and showing off her best fencing skills.*
It’s little snippets like these that make up the patchwork of happy that should be wrapped around a wedding day.

What about group photos? The most boring part of any wedding day, right?!
They can be but I try to make them as painless as possible. Some have even gone as far as to say bearable.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think they’re really important… but they don’t have to be boring and stuffy (or take hours on end), check it out:

So what’s next?

  1. Check out some of the galleries below so you can see how I approach a full wedding day.

  2. If everything you’ve seen is up your street then shimmy on over to my contact page and shoot me a message. I’ll let you know if I’m available on your date and send you some more information (including how much moolah it’ll set you back).
